Air Purifiers: Allergy Control
June 21st, 2008Allergy control is really a multifaceted means of warfare. The sheer number of airborne particles that can cause trouble for the allergy sufferer outweighs our ability to effectively eliminate them. This is a battle won by degrees, and there are a couple of different methods for waging this allergy warfare.
One major component of allergy control is dust and pollen elimination. Elimination is a bit of a misnomer, because you simply cannot completely eliminate all dust and pollen particles. You can, however, greatly reduce the amount of particles that enter your lungs.
One way to help get rid of dust particles is by means of good HEPA air filter. A high-quality air purification system can greatly reduce the number of dust particles in your bedroom, for instance. Bedrooms are the home base for allergy control, since most of us spend about eight hours in them, breathing deeply while sleeping.
Clean Air for Allergy Control
In addition to a good air filter, its important to clean your sheets regularly. This means bleaching. When theres dust, there are dust mites, and these little bugs are the reason most people have allergic reactions to dust. A simply washing wont kill all dust mites. You have to bleach them in order to fully sanitize your whites. A good air filter, and consistent, regular cleaning will go a long way toward healthy allergy control.
